Chain and Slat Elevator : Krone balers with chain and slat technology excel because of their low power requirements. Beacause of the small distance between the slats of the chain conveyor, frictional losses are reduced to a minimum and the baling capacity is maximised
Starter Roller: All baler feature a ribbed starter roller. It provides a quick baler start and optimises the baling process. This ensures a consistently high bale density
Feed Rotor: Krone round balers, even without the cutting system have a feed rotor between the pickup and the bale chamber. this improves the flow of material to the bale chamber and thus provides inreased performance
Pickup: The fully galvanised pickup with a working width of 1.95m and side feeder augers are a must for solid bale edges. These pickups with five rows of tines lift the crop cleanly. Automatic chain tensioning, pneumatic height control wheels and hydraulic lift are all standard features for these machines
Net or Twine: Its your choice! Krone vario pack round balers are standard with both net and twine, the twine box can hold up to 10 rolls of twine or two spare rolls of net. when loading up the net or twine, you stand on the ground at the front of the machine. You no longer have to twist and turn on narrow steps or ladders
Central Lubrication: Another advantage for a long service life is the chain lubrication system with large capacity oil reservoir and adjustable eccentric pump. All hidden lubrication points are easy to access and grouped in clearly laid out lubrication points
Full Comfort Control: All Krone Vario Pack round balers are fitted with the comfort control box which gives the operator the choice of manual or automatic tying, shows how the bale is forming in the chamber and which side of the windrow to drive, allows the operator the ability to change the size of the bale on the go, also the number of wraps of net can be altered on the go, there are several bale counters, plus many other features such as error warning etc
Optional Tandem Axle: The Krone Vario Round Balers can also be ordered with an Optional walking beam tandem axle, this gives the user many benefits including faster and more comfortable transport speed, faster and more comfortable operation in the field
