The self loading feeder wagon has been designed for higher output with less power for contractors and farmers who are involved in Zero-grazing and or clamp silage
High Performance Spiral Rotor : The chopping and feeder rotor is designed to work under the heaviest of loads found in round the clock operation. Double tines are arranged in a spiral on the 1630mm wide, 880mm diameter rotor to achieve an immense loading performance and perfect cut. These double tines are attached and then high strength hardened to give a long service life
Knife Selection: Simple preselection of chop length using 0, 20 or 39 knives, without removing or refitting knives. The knives can be hydraulically pushed back via switch from the control box to quickly clear any blockages in the feed system. Each knife is individually spring loaded and will swing back when foreign objects are taken into the feeding system, naturally the knives will return to their original position when the object has passed through. The knife holder swings down via hydraulic cylinders to make it easier to mount and dismount the knives for sharpening
Galvanised Pickup: The high capacity and clean collection of these giant loading wagons relies on the 1.8m wide fully galvanised pickup with its six rows of tines. The lateral floating suspension on the pickup ensures loss-free forage collection even on the roughest grounds. The height selection of the pickup feeder wheels is carried out on one convenient adjusting lever
Articulated drawbar: The twin hydraulic cylinders on the articulated drawbar will lift the heaviest of loads, giving a ground clearance of up to 750mm so the wagon can be driven over the steepest of silage clamps.
Divided Floor Conveyor: The floor chain is divided into two separate sections and has four heat treated short linked very high tensile, hardened chains with 10mm link diameter and a braking strain of 12.5 tones. The floor chain runs on guide runners and has automated chain tensioner to reduce down time and maintenance costs
Metering Rollers : The machine is fitted with two rear mounted hot-dip galvanised metering beaters, ensuring loose and evenly distributed forage is spread into the feed passage or for depositing onto the silage clamp. The automatic floor conveyor stop is built into the bottom beater.
Optional Automatic Load Device:The optional automatic loading device allows the material to be automatically moved towards the back as and the when the Ron area of the wagon is filled
Operating Console : All wagon functions can be controlled conveniently and easily direct from the tractor cab via the electromagnetic operating console.
Bogey unit with parallel four leaf springs as compensation pivot
The large swing area which ensures even weight distribution on the front and rear axle offers many advantages when driving over silage clamps. The rear axle is on a trailing link and the special cornering steering control guarantees travelling stability even at high road speeds. Standard Tyres are 555/45-17FRT / Track width is 1950mm
